The Texas Drought Project has had some big successful campaigns over the past 18 months. All of these and the progress on our ongoing work on other campaigns were entirely due to all the people who joined our efforts. Hope you will consider joining our present work!
For information on our ongoing campaigns which include a statewide DIVESTMENT campaign and a statewide CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE campaign visit the ONGOING CAMPAIGNS & TAKE ACTION page (see link above). If you are looking for additional resources on climate change, water scarcity, drought, fracking’s depletion of our water supplies or its contributions to climate issues contact us at the e-mails and phones below.
If you need a speaker on any of these subjects for your classroom, civic organization, political group or conference, we can help there, too. Whether you’re in Beaumont, Wichita Falls, Galveston, Brownsville, El Paso, or any point in between–we’ll bring our displays, handouts, and most importantly–our top speakers–to take the message of the Texas Drought Project to you.
And, if you would like more information about the Texas Drought project, or are interested in exploring volunteer opportunities, please contact us.
