TDP's Summer 2019 Fundraiser with Congressman Lloyd Doggett and author/activist Jim HightowerTDP Fundraiser with Rep. Lloyd Doggett* and Jim Hightower

Join the Fight for Our Future!

Help Support Fee-and-Dividend and our continuing efforts to get important elements of the Green New Deal passed in Congress.

We will continue our fight for a sustainable future and for our continued survival on this planet. And remember, the Texas Drought Project (a project of Texas Harambe Foundation) is the ONLY statewide group focused on educating Texans about both Dr. Hansen’s fee-and-dividend solution and the Green New Deal.

Your support is vital to our ability to move the campaign forward. We run a bare-bones campaign with two paid staffers and many volunteers, and can sustain this effort to its conclusion for only $4000/month. Any donation between $100 and $5,000 will be matched by a friend of the organization.

The Texas Drought Project has mounted many large-scale, very successful campaigns over the past 12 years. In 2015, for example, we mobilized over 1000 volunteers and earned 228 endorsements from local, state and national organizations for a climate resolution which was delivered to the Paris Climate Conference. In 2016, we took a popular resolution to the Texas Democratic State Convention, and in 2018, we doubled our efforts with two resolutions which had overwhelming support on a county and district level to ban fracking and fossil-fuel donations. And in 2017, we turned out over 300 supporters for a 100%-by-2030 renewables campaign at Austin City Council. All of those major projects and many smaller ones, together with the progress on our ongoing work, were entirely due to the many people who joined our efforts.

Please help us make Texas safe and habitable for generations to come. We hope you will consider supporting our ongoing work on our Fight for Our Future Campaign.
