Sunrisers are marching from New Orleans to Houston in support of a Green New Deal.

Let's welcome them home with a weekend full of actions!

Sunrisers are walking 400 miles from New Orleans to Houston to show and spread support for the Green New Deal. Namely for legislation that will bring us a Civilian Climate Corp which will bring jobs and safety to our communities. June 18th at 5 pm - Canvassing for a Green New Deal

Want to help us get the word out for the Green New Deal? Join us Friday in the Pasadena and Manchester neighborhoods to talk with people on what the GND could mean for Houston.

June 20th at 5 pm - Climate Stories with Sunrise HTX

Climate change effects us all in unique ways, by sharing our stories we fuel the movement we need to save our future. Join us online as we stream from the Houston Climate Justice Museum. Listen to others stories and tell your own if you are comfortable.

June 21st at 5 pm - Houston for a Green New Deal Rally

Join us for our final event of the march, a rally and celebration at Emancipation Park complete with speakers, food, and music.

COVID-19 guidelines will be followed. Masks required.
