Some background:

The Green New Deal for Public Schools includes

• Investment to fund green retrofits at every K-12 public school in America including indoor air quality, renewable energy, decarbonization and more
• Hiring and training more teachers
• Increased funding for low-income and disability-focused programs

The PRO Act is pro-union and contains many good things, such as

• Penalties for employer Unfair Labor Practices
• $250 tax deduction for workers for union dues
• $350 million funding increase for the National Labor Relations Board

We’re calling on everyone to demand Sen. Schumer & Speaker Pelosi join us for the #NoCutsChallenge. All you have to do is:

• Take a selfie or group photo holding scissors (SAFELY!)
• Tweet, Instagram and/or post to Facebook with a caption such as:
